Hostasaurus offers co-location services for our customers using their own equipment. Co-location is useful for customers who would like to manage their own server but need a high-availability environment to house it in. We can accomodate any equipment, including floor-standing if necessary, but rack mountable is preferred and will save you money. Stand-alone computers can be rack mounted via shelves that consume a 1/2 rack unit of space but total use is rounded up to the next full rack unit.

Our facility offers:

• Secure-access data center with on-site personnel available for 24x7 support.
• Guaranteed temperature and humidity.
• Redundant UPS and generator power backup with optional redundant power circuits fed through seperate transfer switches.
• Three direct internet connections to providers that include Level 3 and Global Crossing, the two largest global backbone providers available; we do not use tier-2 connectivity. All providers have a presence in our data center and have their own redundant fiber routes in to and out of the building.
• Enterprise switches, routers and hardware load balancers exclusively from Foundry Networks and all with redundant power even down to the server racks. Redundant core and border (peering) routers for customers that wish to bring their own network equipment in and have redundant connections to us. We will only BGP peer with you if you have a technical reason for doing so, such as using us and another provider to multi-home your AS.
